Korsaya.org seeks to engender a spirit of community and collaboration between Vulcans and their admirers. If you have some expertise or skill to offer contributively, please don’t hesitate to comment below or write to Briht’uhn via the address on the Contact Page.

Also, if you feel that you need help with some project involving Vulcan language or writing, just ask. If nobody here can help, then we’ll try to send you off in the right direction.

    Your website is beautiful and clearly a product of great effort and research. I admire the effort that has gone into this incredible creation. When I saw your gorgeous examples of Vulcan calligraphy, I knew the search for the script for my design was complete. Unfortunately, my handwriting is nowhere near as lovely as the samples shown on this site, and I could not hope to reproduce them myself. Could you point me to someone who could lend me their expertise in crafting a single phrase in Vulcan, written in calligraphy?

    I’m a huge fan of star trek since i was a child, and for a very long time i’ve been facinated by Vulcan culture; I search for long a site that could teach the true vulcan way, gladly i found it.

      For Vulcan culture I also highly recommend Kir’Shara, which is under the meticulous mind and care of Sidzhan.

    This site is astonishing! I adore Vulcan nature and would love to learn their language. I think this site is of great value for any Vulcan fan. Thank you so much for your hard work. I am fascinated with languages in general, read alot of books about them and also learn few of them. Vulcan is going to be my first, fully artificial language that I intend to grasp. At a first glance, Japanese is incredibly easy compared to it^^

    From a young age, due to my father’s appreciation of the series, I have always been immersed in everything Star Trek. I fell in love with the series all over again once finished high school and had time between working days before I went to college.

    Your site is immaculate, and is of great assistance to one and all as they seek to learn one of the most under rated languages to come of a fantastic series- nay, a culture. I hope to further use the work to complete my understanding of this beautiful language <3

      Thank you so much for your kind words. I’m glad the site is meaningful to you. I don’t have as much time for it as I once did, but I’m humbled that it is still useful and entertaining to those who find it on the web.

      NEMAIYO is a word for “Thank you” that I understand, but in the Golic Vulcan dialect of this site we’d probably say WA’ITAREN (literally: “emphatically’recognize/thank”) or CHA’I T’NAAT (“sentiment of respect”) for the context of thanks that I take it you intend here. If someone does something extra special for you (personally), then there’s CHA’I T’KLEM (“sentiment of gratitude”) as an option as well.

    Hi, I’m actually trying to get a translation of something in Vulcan Calligraphy, but I’m not very language savvy and my handwriting is horrendous, so trying to create the translation myself is out of the question. Could someone here help me out or perhaps point me to someone who could help me out? I tried contacting via the email listed on the contact page, but yahoo said that email doesn’t exist. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

      I am VERY behind on doing artwork for people for tattoos, but the first formal step would be for you to make this request to the e-mail address: skladan /at/ korsaya /dot/ org

      I would need to have a regular e-mail address for the delivery anyway. That address was working totally normally earlier today, so I don’t know what the glitch may have been. Sorry about that whatever it was.

    Hello, I’m new to the Vulcan Language.
    But I saw a tattoo of the phrase ‘live long and prosper’ in Vulcan and I know now what I want for my next tattoo! What a beautiful language!!! And very great for tattoo’s (I think).
    Now I have a few questions about it and Google send me to your great site (the music is also beautiful!).

    I hope you can help me :)

    My first question is, can a earthling name be converted in Vulcan? My wife’s name is Saskia and my name is Rob.
    I love to have the name Saskia in Vulcan on my arm and I’m also curious what Rob would be like as a Tattoo.

    If that is possible I have a 3th name of my football club ‘Feyenoord’
    If it’s not possible to convert names to Vulcan can you help me to make a drawing of a phrase for a tattoo? If so I’m gonna think hard what phrase that would be :)

    Lastly I want to apology for any bad English but my home language is Dutch
